Privacy Policy

Zen Rooms is made by Tiny App Studio. It is a quiet decorating toy, and it was built to work without knowing who you are. This policy explains the little that happens with information when you use the app and this website.

What we collect

Nothing that identifies you. Zen Rooms has no accounts, no sign-in and no ads, and it never tracks you across other apps or websites. We do not collect your name, email address, location, contacts or photos.

Usage data

To learn which parts of the app people enjoy, Zen Rooms sends anonymous usage events to PostHog, an analytics service: for example that a room was created, a piece of furniture was placed, the weather was changed or a pack was bought, along with the app version, device model and iOS version. Events carry a random identifier created on install, which is not linked to your name, Apple Account or any other identity, and is never used for advertising. You can turn this off at any time in the app under Settings → Privacy → Share usage data.

Your rooms

The rooms you make, the furniture you place and your settings are stored only on your device. They are not sent to us. Deleting the app deletes them. If you include app data in your device backups, Apple stores that backup under its own terms.

Snapshots

When you take a snapshot of a room, the picture is created on your device. It leaves the app only if you choose to save or share it through the iOS share sheet, and then it goes wherever you send it.

Purchases

Furniture packs are sold through Apple's App Store. Apple processes the payment; we never see your name, payment details or Apple Account. To deliver and restore purchases reliably, the app uses RevenueCat, a purchase infrastructure service. RevenueCat receives an anonymous, randomly generated identifier, your purchase receipt and basic technical information such as app version, device model and country of the App Store storefront. None of this is used to identify you personally, for advertising, or to track you across other apps and websites.

This website

This site uses no cookies. It counts visits with TinyStats, a cookie-free analytics service that records which pages are viewed and when someone taps through to the App Store, without storing personal data or following you across other websites. The site is served by Cloudflare, which, like any web host, briefly processes technical request data such as IP address and browser type to deliver pages and keep the service secure.

Children

Zen Rooms is suitable for all ages, but it is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, children included. The app contains optional in-app purchases, which a parent or guardian can restrict using Screen Time on the device.

Your rights

Because we do not hold personal data about you, there is usually nothing for us to access, correct or delete: your rooms are yours, on your device, and usage events cannot be traced back to you. If you have any privacy question or request, email us at hello@tinyappstudio.io and we will help.
